Our Story

In January of 2000, I took my 3 month old baby to the doctor to see what was on her face, hands and legs, it was eczema. They gave me the usual, steroid creams and ointments with ingredients I could not pronounce to put on my brand new baby. Something about that just did not sit well with me. Steroids on an infant?

I immediately began to research a natural alternative to give her relief from the itching and cracking skin that she had all over her. When I could not find one, I made one, Cocobuttery. I blended Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil together and applied it to her twice a day and her eczema was no longer visible or irritating her.

Over the years, my daughter has used Cocobuttery to keep her eczema from flaring up. We have shared it with friends and family that also suffer from eczema, dry skin, sensitive skin, having babies or surgery. Some just wanted a natural moisturizer and Cocobuttery was the solution.
